Natasha Flores
CEO
Our CEO is Natasha Flores. Natasha started her career as a teacher whilst also studying law at Macquarie University. This led to her shifting her career to industrial law, with her first role seeing her represent outworkers in the clothing industry for the Textile Clothing and Footwear Union. She then moved to the Independent Education Union and provided legal representation for teachers in non-government schools before gaining an interest in work, health and safety.
From there she moved on to Unions NSW, the peak body for Unions in NSW, where she worked as an Industrial Officer in the area of Work Health & Safety and Workers Compensation. During her time at Unions NSW, Natasha sat on a number of government committees and Boards representing the interests of workers across all industries in health and safety and worker’s compensation.
During her time here she advocates for improvements in WHS legislation, such as industrial manslaughter, the right for unions to prosecute health and safety breaches and run disputes in the Industrial Relations Commission.
Natasha has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Labour Law & Relations and is an accredited SafeWork trainer in WHS.

Amy Patrk
Director of People and Culture
Amy is the Director of People and Culture and WHS at the Workers Health Centre. Amy brings extensive experience in HR and governance, most recently in a senior leadership role at Unions NSW. Amy has also practised as a workers’ compensation lawyer representing NSW union members, giving her strong insight into the scheme and the challenges faced by injured workers. Amy’s role at the Centre is to strengthen and streamline operations to support a high-performance culture and positioning WHC for its next phase of growth.
Ash Pillay-Muneef
Industrial Health Research Officer
Ash joins the team as our Industrial Health Research Officer. As a Medical Biotechnology graduate passionate about cancer research and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, Ash thrives at the intersection of scientific discovery and public understanding.
Ash brings with him strong communication skills through academic presentations, writing, and digital media, and enjoys transforming technical content into engaging narratives. Ash is driven by a desire to make complex biomedical topics accessible and meaningful for diverse audiences, from students to policymakers.

Natalie is an Exercise Physiologist who completed a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2017 at Southern Cross University. With over six years of experience in the field, she is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist specialising in the NSW Workers’ Compensation scheme and clinical settings.
Her passion lies in helping individuals recover from injuries, improve their physical well-being, and reclaim their quality of life. Natalie is committed to ensuring optimal recovery and long-term health outcomes.

Fabian L
Rehabilitation Consultant – Assistant Team Leader – SE / NE

Fabian is an Exercise Physiologist who began his career as a rehabilitation consultant with the Workers Health Centre in 2022. Fabian is passionate in helping the rehabilitation of injured workers and supporting their return-to-work process after seeing the impact of workplace injuries among those around him. Fabian seeks to serve the community by helping injured workers gain better access to assistance, information, and effective treatment with the goal of helping them get back to doing the things they previously enjoyed.
He strongly believes in adjusting lifestyle practices and tailoring return to work processes to an individual to achieve great outcomes for workers. Fabian is also passionate in advocating for workers’ rights by engaging with all stakeholders and providing his professional opinion on relevant matters.

Daniel completed his studies at Southern Cross University, beginning with a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Osteopathy) and later graduating with a Master of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. Following his studies, he worked as an Osteopath across a range of clinical settings, practising in osteopathic clinics throughout Sydney’s Northern Beaches, North Shore, and Eastern Suburbs.
In 2022, Daniel commenced his career as a Rehabilitation Consultant with the Workers Health Centre. His own experience managing a chronic injury inspired his passion for supporting individuals with both acute and chronic conditions. He is committed to helping clients understand pain management, navigate appropriate healthcare services, and access the support needed for recovery.
Daniel has seen firsthand the positive impact that workplace modifications, lifestyle adjustments, and targeted treatment can have on achieving meaningful recovery outcomes. He is dedicated to advocating for workers’ rights within the workers compensation system and ensures all stakeholders are well-informed, engaged, and guided with clear advice throughout the rehabilitation process.

Alana Lloyd

Alana earned her qualifications as an osteopath from Southern Cross University, completing a Bachelor of Clinical Science followed by a Master of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. Since her qualification, she has been practicing in a private clinical setting in Sydney.
Alana’s journey into healthcare was inspired by her own experience with a chronic shoulder injury, which necessitated extensive multidisciplinary management, lifestyle adjustments, and occupational modifications. Having fully recovered, she developed a deep passion for assisting others in their recovery from both acute and chronic injuries.
Her clinical practice and personal experiences have fuelled her interest in managing chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries through rehabilitative exercises and education. Alana is dedicated to enhancing self-efficacy, independence, and autonomy in her patients.
In 2024, Alana transitioned to the Workers Health Centre as a rehabilitation consultant. This role allows her to leverage her unique perspective as both a patient and a healthcare provider in supporting individuals through the recover-at-work process.

Lisa is a qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor and experienced Team Leader. Having worked in the occupational rehabilitation industry and human resource environments for over 25 years giving her the experience and expertise to work with a wide variety of injured workers after they sustained both physical injuries, such as muscular-skeletal injuries and people whom sustained significantly debilitating psychological injuries such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Lisa is passionate about providing guidance with empathy to assist workers to achieve a durable recovery at work, advocating for the health benefits of good work.

Merly is a Career Development Specialist and HCANZA-Accredited Health Coach with over a decade of experience in occupational rehabilitation and workplace wellness. With a client-centered and evidence-based approach, Merly empowers individuals to navigate the complexities of modern life while prioritising holistic wellbeing and career satisfaction. Rejecting a one-size-fits-all mentality, she advocates for a balanced lifestyle and career that is both achievable and sustainable.
Drawing from her extensive background in occupational rehabilitation, Merly recognised the pressing need for a proactive and comprehensive approach to chronic stress and injury recovery. This realisation propelled her towards health coaching, injury prevention, and championing workplace wellness initiatives.
Merly specialises in facilitating career transitions and providing advisory services to help individuals achieve their professional aspirations after significant life events such as workplace injury. Murray has worked for over 16 years in the NSW Workers Compensation system and is currently located in the Newcastle area however he supports workers from other regional locations across NSW. He operates across both the Same Employer and New Employer systems utilising his extensive experience to support and assist workers to rehabilitate and return to work from both Physical and Psychological injuries.
Commencing his working career in Newcastle as a tradesperson in the heavy industry and coal mining industries he then pursued a career as a Sales Engineer and a Northern NSW Regional Sales Manager, working in the Real Estate industry and Retail Sales roles in both supervisory and management positions.
Murray moved to QLD where he worked in a range of positions while undertaking University studies, completing a bachelor’s degree in human services with a double major in Rehabilitation Counselling and Disability Studies at Griffith University. This included the Mental Health sector, Youth Work and with the Indigenous Community. After completing his studies, Murray commenced work as a Job Capacity Assessor in the Centrelink system before commencing work in the NSW Workers Compensation System as a Rehabilitation Consultant, Senior Rehabilitation Consultant and as a Pain Management Coordinator.
